Peter assisted our family with the purchase of our Victoria house in August 2016 and we were extremely pleased with his dedicated service throughout the entire process. The Victoria market has been very challenging due to the lack of inventory and intense competition amongst buyers. Despite this market dynamic, Peter made himself available at all stages of the purchase process and his expertise greatly contributed to a successful outcome for our family.
Our house purchase began with Peter arranging house viewings while we we still in Alberta. Upon arriving in Victoria for 2 days of house hunting, Peter devoted full days to our family and not only drove us to numerous houses in Victoria, he drove us to Langford as well for a separate event. In addition, prior to leaving Victoria to take the ferry to Vancouver, Peter insisted on driving us to the Schwartz Bay Terminal which was very gracious of him.
What made our experience with Peter even more outstanding was the work he did in assisting with the sale of our former house in Edmonton. Our Edmonton house was listed for close to 5 months in a very tough market for sellers due to the economy. With different Edmonton realtors involved in this sale, Peter still kept in contact with us and provided sound advice for house staging and the listing price during the holiday season and we are happy to say that we were able sell this property.

Thank you for doing a wonderful job for Cathy. We appreciate all the work in getting a listing up and running and doing open houses as well as all the behind the scenes work dealing with other realtors and the public.
Our first priority was finding realtors who would be sympathetic to Cathy’s situation and who were agreeable to us being involved. As mentioned Cathy gave up work about 15 years ago and has provided full time care 24/7 to her mum who was a few months short of her 100th birthday when she passed away 9 months ago. It is very hard and emotional for her and she is taking some time to adjust to not having the responsibility. The sale of the suite will certainly help her move on.
Our second priority was finding realtors who understood the local condo market. Over the past 10 years since we retired, sales prices have declined and recent sales by other realtors were at prices we were getting 10 years ago. This was very frustrating to us especially in a rising market.
It was refreshing to find both of you who understand that over recent years The Willows has been undervalued by other realtors, especially for the size and location and amenities it has to offer. The sale price of $420,000 sets a new benchmark to getting values back to where they should be. We know from past experience that the prime time for this local condo market is the next 6 months when older folk are moving from their houses in the neighbourhood and looking for a large condo to accommodate their furniture and be close to all amenities. In addition there is also the student market. There seems to be a short supply of product in this area and we expect prices will increase as demand increases over the next 6 months.
